In 2020, Entrepose Drilling, founded in 1958 and known as Cofor until 2015, became ARVERNE DRILLING, a subsidiary of Arverne Group, retaining the company’s full operational competencies and expertise. Arverne Drilling specializes in drilling, maintaining and abandoning oil and gas wells, and mining shafts, as well as geothermal energy, with numerous references in France, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Having studied as an Industrial Engineer (at ENSAM), I started my career in the chemical industry as a plant start-up engineer at Air Liquide.
I quickly joined the Total Group, where I spent fifteen years in engineering and operational management positions in the oil drilling sector, mainly abroad: North Sea, Indonesia, Angola, and South Africa.
Back in France in 2016, I applied my experience to a position as Technical Manager of a drilling contractor, which enhanced my understanding of the French geothermal market, as well as construction company management, including staff and equipment.
Along with my colleagues, we are working to define Arverne’s projects and development. I was particularly involved in the buyout of the Entrepose Drilling company, now Arverne Drilling, and currently work as the Assistant General Manager and Sales Manager.
I am married with four children and have been a Human Resources professional for more than 20 years.
Following my university studies in History and Political Science, I focused on Human Resources, earning a post-graduate degree at the Celsa faculty at Paris-IV Sorbonne.
I held positions in several large-scale industrial companies before joining the Arverne Group at the very beginning.
My experience in the arms (Giat Industries), aeronautical (Turboméca), and even electrical manufacturing (Legrand) and food-processing (Chevallier) industries involved me in sometimes complex or difficult situations, which have, however, always resulted in meeting new people and learning a lot.
I am convinced that a company’s business can combine full development of people with economic prosperity and I am enthusiastically committed to the growth of Arverne Group and each of its employees.
I like spending time with my family and friends, the mountains, bees, and I’m training in krav maga with three of my children!
I originally came from Montpellier and showed my family’s aptitude for mathematics at an early age, which led me to study Sciences and choose a career working with numbers.
After my master’s degree in Financial Auditing and Accounting at ESCP Europe, I started my career in the pharmaceutical industry in Paris, as a financial controller.
I worked there for nearly 10 years, taking on managerial responsibilities in France and abroad. In this international context, I had the opportunity to take part in structuring projects, along with multidisciplinary teams from every background. In 2016, I went to Taiwan as the subsidiary’s Financial Officer, a culturally-fulfilling international experience that also made me want to work with smaller companies, where I could bring a higher added value.
I then returned to France in 2017 with an entrepreneurial spirit, where I created Transparency and worked part time as its CFO, supporting local business creators.
I started out on the Arverne venture in early 2020 as the CFO, bringing my experience in both large groups and building smaller firms, fully supporting the Management's vision, which immediately attracted me.
AND PROJECT MANAGER
After my engineering studies at the Paris School of Mines focusing on Energy & Processes, I worked in many fields and positions in the industry, in France and abroad, first at EDF and then in the oil industry.
In Paris, Scotland, and Gabon, I worked every day with people at every level in many fields (ground handling agents, researchers, traders, non-destructive testing technicians, financial controllers, interns, managers, wireline supervisors, economists, and so on) and I saw that, throughout the organization, there were always plenty of people who wanted to make their company grow, with whom it was a pleasure to work.
I like finding out about new jobs and those who do them. Dealing with new technical domains and issues. Helping people achieve their full potential. Having sufficient freedom to get things done.
As the Production and Project Manager at Arverne Drilling, I am here: first to offer our clients the services we are able to provide with our employees, machines, and suppliers, and second, to help site managers meet these clients’ expectations under the best conditions.
About Arverne’s plan to grow Arverne Drilling in the long-term: our shareholders, bankers, and suppliers believe in it, and so do I.
The first step in a well-constructed project consists of knowing how to listen: to our clients, partners, and employees. Let’s hear what they have to say.
"To me, safety isn’t just a useful word. It entails being interested in your environment, respecting, understanding, helping, and speaking to each other, and together, finding the most suitable solutions.
My goal is to build a relationship of trust, working as closely as possible with the teams and have the right information at the right time to take action: too early is never too late!
A caring attitude, respect for those around you, and the recognition and consolidation of experience are the fundamentals of our safety policy. This is my mission at Arverne.”
